Controllers and Alarms

Nowadays, noise is a crucial factor for PC Users. All fans can be made quieter simply by attaching them to a variable voltage controller, which lowers the power thus lowering the speed of the fan. Yes, this does decresae performance, but it's the price you pay for wanting silence without water! And just in case they pack in, alarms are available too...

Fan Adapters and Mountings

A good way to improve on an existing heatsink is to upgrade it's fan. This tactic can be used to both increase performance AND decrease noise, as larger fans require a lower RPM to shift the same amount of air as a smaller fan. The averag HSF uses a 60mm fan. These adapters allow you to use the common 80mm fan.
