Well, the team has lost two places in recent times, what has happened to everyone? We now have only 5 active members! We don't need a lot from anyone, but if lots of people do a little than we can do a lot between us.
You don't have to leave your computer on 24/7 to contribute, just fold when it is on anyway. Come on, it is easy to do, any questions feel free to ask here, on msn or PM me. It certainly seems a shame the team are slipping considering we all worked so hard to keep things on the upside bearing the heat and the cost and such but perfectly understandable really. As a few of you may know the bulk of my folders were cooled by a glycol chiller I built, but now the chiller is being used for office air con and I can't justify spending XX pounds on air coolers for them unfortunately so, that's about it really. From time to time I may get the GPU to run off a few work units but the noise of the fan irritates me somewhat, I hear screaming fans all day at work and coming home to it at night isn't appealing if I'm honest.
Just reading that back to myself I immediately though grumpy old man

Hi all, a wanderer returns
 just got a quad, installed ubuntu 8.10 and smp and I'm folding again, I have also utilized an older amd 4400 dual core chip, again ubuntu and smp. the old farm of dual core p4s have finally been put to sleep, laid to rest. thats about it really, up n folding again. |

if you stopped folding the money you saved from not running all those PC's all the time for a fairlly unachivable goal you could use the money you save on electricity and drag your ass up to a LAN. -------------------- |
