seems very very slow - taking 20-30secs for the page to even start loading.
O-CuK is fine on my home line, just when running via JANET, it takes ages. any other website seems fine. i doubt it's O-CuK site issue itself, but maybe a request to service providings for investigation? *shrug* been like it for 3-4weeks i think.... -------------------- Gaming PC: Asus P5E x38 | Q6600@ 3.5ghz, 1.375v | Gigabyte 9800gx2 | 4gb OCZ PC6400&PC8500 | raid0 320gb | FuZion & PA120.2 | w7 x64

ok..... put it another way...
10.229.x.x = my work 172.16.x.x = my work 192.168.x.x = coventry university 193.x.x.x = cov uni my work is the business side of coventry uni (called CUE) - not student/education side. we're completely independant from the university in terms of IT services, but we do get perks, like software licencing, JANET link, etc. since we have a SLA with CU, then i use the term 'provider' to mean 'coventry uni' and not 'JANET'. once it gets to the far end of the fibre, that 172.16.x.x is on, it's no longer 'our' network -------------------- Gaming PC: Asus P5E x38 | Q6600@ 3.5ghz, 1.375v | Gigabyte 9800gx2 | 4gb OCZ PC6400&PC8500 | raid0 320gb | FuZion & PA120.2 | w7 x64

Regardless, your not loosing any packets along the way.
Maybe a transparent proxy is messing things up ? -------------------- ~ Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 ~ Shuttle SP35P2 ~ 8Gb Kingston Ultra Low Profile ~ ATI HD5770 ~ |
